Middle of the Week

Hello all! It's a nice day out and I'm just sitting here waiting for a package. I finally ordered that laptop I said I was getting. Super excited to have it come in even if I don't have the pen or all my files ready for transfer yet. As I sit here aside from writing this blog I'm also working on a page for my website dedicated to ai art and how to use various art making ais on the internet. I've noticed that over the past year generative art has become something that I'm rather passionate in and I often find myself using ai generated images in my creative process.

Especially with the advent of Dall E 2 I've been noticing a lot of push back from professional artists in the industry who are worried that they're going to be put out of a job by Dall E 2 and other ais that produce similar results. I can understand the initial fear of it I really do but I honestly think that even if the technology was at a degree where it could compete with traditional artists there would still be people who prefer human art. I see it more as a tool which can help aid artists as opposed to something to will replace them. But that's just my two cents on the issue at least as of right now.
