Hello again all, long time no see! As one can probably guess from the title i have been diligently working on Laura Quest Chapter 2 over the past few months... Well as diligently as I can given that I sustained a rather grievous back injury around the end of June. I'm healing up well in the meantime at least and am taking active steps to avoid it worsening! But this made me realize a lot of things about my relationship with art and how it's grown to be somewhat unhealthy.

Before my injury I spent the majority of my time awake either working on my school work, (which usually involves drawing) my commissions, and then drawing in my free time. When I was unable to partake in this specific work/hobby I felt completely directionless, and it's dawned on me just how much of my life I spend doing nothing but that.

I feel like I've put all my eggs in one basket, so to speak, and I'm not sure of what else i'm even interested in this point. So I'm trying out a lot of stuff but I enjoy maintaining this website a whole lot and I'd wager that I'll be on here making more updates soon as I teach myself more web development skills. Anyways that's pretty much what's been going on with me recently, thank you for reading!

Hi all! I know it's been a hot minute since i last posted anything here so let me bring you back up to speed. After starting another semester at my college, my mental health quickly took another nose dive due to an intense months long art block which had me in an existential crisis. Wishing to prevent the incident which happened during the spring I ended up taking a temporary leave and it thankfully helped a lot. I'm now back on the grind but the thing that sucks is now I have like no time for anything else haha.

With all that said though I do really want to get back to making updates here as I have a lot planned for the future. It's just trying to carve out the time for it at the moment is a bit difficult. Anyways I'll hopefully be back around mid december, thank you for all your patience and support!

How's everyone been? I know it's been a while since I kinda dropped off the face off the earth but that's mostly because I've been so busy I haven't been able to keep up here! As I mentioned in my last blog entry I finished work on Laura Quest Chapter 1! And at some point I may go a bit more into detail about the development process of that (And I kinda already have in my guest appearance on Cafe Lily) but I'd love to do more if I can!

After LQ1 however I immediately had to transition into doing artfight attacks since I've been doing that for about 7 years straight now. This year I was a lot less satisfied with what I was putting out and I in general wasn't as into it as I've been in years past :(. If I had to guess why this was the case it would probably be because most of my usual friends who I always attack didn't participate this year. So idk if I'll do it next year honestly, even though I'd like to in theory.

Lastly at the beginning of this month I moved in with an older family member to help take care of them and also be closer to school. I'm not sure how long I'll be living here but it'll probably be at least a year or two since I'm not graduating next year (part time for my sanity). I really like it so far! It's been nice being in the area and having access to public transport again while not living in the school dorms themselves.

Anyways that's what I've mostly been up to. I'm looking into fixing Hitch's profile atm since there's some errors with it. After that I think I'm gonna just let myself rest since I've been kinda powering through these past few months. I want myself to be refreshed when I start my thesis film in the fall. Anyways I hope you all have been doing well!

So uh, on the 28th of last month I had an overdose attempt. Obviously I will not be going super deep into the details of it because it is rather personal but I figured I should let you all know. After being hospitalized for about a week and a half I was finally released from an inpatient program (which was awful btw) and am now resting up back at home and am attempting to get back on the horse regarding school.

It wasn't something I was planning on doing, even that day, even hours before when I was doing pretty bad I still wasn't planning it. It was an incredibly impulsive action that I'm honestly very scared of happening again. Because of this me and my doctors are considering switching me off one of my medicines (which can cause said impulsivity) and looking into a diagnosis of some kind of personality disorder due to the nature of the episode.

The silver lining is I've been able to take more time for myself and my personal projects mainly the humorism rpg. I've sent a very early test project to a few friends and they've been very receptive! However I'm also looking for people I'm not as close to to get more of an outsider's feedback. So if anyone's interested please send a message either to my askbox or to one of my active social medias!

Hi again all! This semester has really been packing on the work for me and I've been having difficulty finding time for updating this site especially within the past week or so. Had a period where I was completely out of medicine and that fucked me up bad for a few days so now I'm behind in a few classes DX

Regardless, if any of you have been keeping up with my site, you've probably seen the updates I've been making to my Humorism profiles. It's been completely overtaking my brain as of late. I'm very much enjoying taking a cast of old characters which I used to be very connected with and giving them a new coat of paint.

Nextholders in it's original form, was never going to work, given the tone and content of the source material. So it's very freeing being able to more so realize the stories I had initially been hesitant about tackling because of the drastic differences. It also allows me to be a lot more creative now that I'm not shackled to having to keep all of the characters close to canon.

Hi all! Remember how I said I was going to be busy with a lot of art projects? Well that's kinda gone out the window since my tablet pen kicked the bucket. :T I tried trouble shooting and every fix I could find and nothing worked. So I ordered a new one... and accidentally sent it to my school dorms... Yeah I'm a bit upset but I'm making a trek to get it tomorrow so hopefully I can get some stuff done before next semester.

Because of this issue I splurged and got myself aseprite and rpg maker to mess with in the meantime and honestly? I think this is my calling. The way I will absolutely lose tracking of time just messing around with game mechanics and planning out maps and character sprites is honestly so euphoric to me. As much as I enjoy my normal art the absolute rush gamedeving gives me is unlike anything I've experienced before.

In other gaming news I've also delved into getting pokemon scarlet (and violet) up and running on my computer and tbqh despite the graphical glitches occasionally it's a genuinely fun game and I'm invested in the characters. IMO it's a significantly better game than sword and shield were if solely because it takes way more risks in gameplay and story. SWSH looking back on it played it incredibly safe which yeah it has less lows but that also means there are much less high points as well. I kinda wish I hadn't bought SWSH and bought this instead glitches and all.

Anyways that's about all I have for today hopefully I'll be back soon with more site updates and new art.

Hey all! As the title implies lots has been going on. We're winding down on finals now and while I have a lot of cool stuff I'm excited to share, it's probably going to be another week or so before I have everything finished. It's keeping me occupied and in addition to that I got into a multi animator project I applied for on a whim X_X. Suffice to say I've got my work cut out for me!

In other news I've forced myself to get back into pokespe, initially I was just doing it for a silly side project but it has consumed me once again. It's alright this happens every few years so I'm not surprised at this point haha. Due to this I'm working on nextholders again but making more of an effort to separate it from the source material a bit more. Which reminds me I have to update my project list at some point soon to reflect my current projects and what I'm working on atm. Don't worry MDG isn't going anywhere I'm very attached to them. But NH is kinda dominating my thoughts right now haha

Hello all! Classes have started for me now and it's been a whirlwind of busyness for me lately. I like what I'm currently taking and am super excited to start showing stuff to you all! Over the past few years I've found I end up making more higher quality art during the school year. I assume this is because I'm kind of in a rhythm now where I'm improving more during it and because the structure it provides.

This does of course make me very anxious for what will come after I finish my schooling... I know the animation industry right now is very worrisome due to that whole HBO max fiasco. I just wanna find decent work at a place that pays well, please I don't care if it's not super glamorous at this point lol. I do still have my pipe dream of making an educational show about space but I won't be too bummed if it never comes to fruition.

Anyways that's enough rambling for today have some wips for one of my classes

hi all! Like I mentioned in my last entry this month has been crazy busy for me but I finally have some time to myself to be able to write again. I have a job... sorta, we're figuring things out at the moment but I am going to start working there eventually which I'm excited about. I've gotten most if not all of my artfight attacks done which I'm happy about as well.

But along with that my game also came out! you can play it here! I have a lot of feelings about this and am so just genuinely ecstatic I was able to finish this. In the past I've always struggled with completing projects and before this game I had 2 others that I was unable to finish. I was starting to lose hope that I could ever do something like this but I did and I'm so proud of myself for doing it.

Riding off the high of this I've decided to keep my momentum going by diving into another visual novel project. I don't want to give too many details away but but it's sort of an elaboration/rewrite of the ending of Tropical Rouge Precure. I'm already a decent way into the outline so hopefully I can finish that soon and move on to scripting.

Hi guys! Sorry I've been kinda distant here a lot's going on. Not bad stuff necessarily just busy stuff. Finally might have gotten a job which is great, it's not art related but I'll take what I can get at this point. New laptop works wonderfully and I'm honestly having a blast with it. I noticed that I get restless when I can't draw so having something i can bring with me like this is a big help. Still working on my ai art making guild but that should hopefully be done soonish.

My memory has been getting worse lately... It's part of the reason I haven't been as active here I literally can't remember to do it. Idk I've always just kinda accepted it as being normal but multiple people now have been telling me that these gaps in my memory aren't typical. So I'm looking into that I just wish my brain wasn't so scrambled.
